Marine Le Pen praises Cameron stance on multiculturalism

The Guardian reports that Marine Le Pen, the leader of France's nazi National Front, has congratulated David Cameron on his controversial speech about multiculturalism. The speech was made in Munich--the birth place of Nazism.
Behind Cameron's slippery PR facade lies a racist bigot that the far right recognise as one of their own. Cameron's mask has slipped. His tendentious claptrap about replacing multiculturalism with a "muscular liberalism" is, as Le Pen clearly recognises, actually code for "muscular bigotry" of the sort used by the far right. Cameron cannot have been unaware that on the same day as his speech, the EDL was attempting to mount a pogrom in Luton's Asian community. God knows there was enough media coverage of the event in the week leading up to it. And the Daily Star has just published another promotional piece about the EDL.
The media is obviously building up the EDL's self-styled petite bourgeois honcho Steven Lennon (he apparently owns a tanning parlour) to be a celebrity like Griffin. Lennon apparently wants to appear on Question Time and the BBC is almost certainly daft enough to let it happen. The fact that the EDL's sociopathic objective in Luton was thwarted by anti-racists and local Muslim youth is no thanks to Cameron or the media.
Racism is functional to capitalism--it needs it to survive. Divide and rule is its method of diverting attention away from the the real cause of the economic crisis--the reckless profligacy of the banks--and putting the blame falsely on to an innocent scapegoat--in this case Muslims.
But Cameron is playing with fire. We saw the results of this in Nazi Germany in the 1930 and 40s. The warnings expressed by the recent Holocaust Day commemoration events were obviously wasted on the Tory party.
