Stop the EDL in Tower Hamlets, 3rd September

Greater Manchester UAF are organising coaches to take people to Tower Hamlets in east London to protest against the EDL on Saturday 3rd September.
The EDL is planning to bring racists from all over Britain to stage an anti-Muslim march through Tower Hamlets. After the massacre in Norway by EDL sympathiser Anders Breivik thousands of people have woken up to the danger posed by fascists and racists in the UK.
Seven hundred people attended a recent meeting in Tower Hamlets sponsored by United East End and UAF to build the counter protest. Meeting in Manchester-Tues 9th, 7pm
Our next open meeting will be this Tuesday, 9th August, 7pm at the RAPAR offices, side entrance of Friends Meeting House, Mount Street, Manchester (opposite rear of Central Ref Library). We will be discussing the Tower Hamlets protest, the Defending Multiculturalism book tour ; also, how we keep the Village Nazi-free, following the successful mobilization of about 25 UAF supporters on Canal Street to block the EDL, on Saturday 23rd July.
