North West Mobilisation of Anti-Racists against the EDL
Don’t Let the Racist EDL Divide Us!
Join the Celebration of Multicultural Blackburn
Saturday 2nd April
Meet: Suddell Cross, end of Preston New Road, Blackburn.
Get there for 12 noon start.
The racist English Defence League is staging a rally in Blackburn on Saturday 2nd April. The EDL not only aims to isolate and intimidate Asian & ethnic communities, they have also attacked trade union/anti-war gatherings. We need unity to fight cuts in essential services - but the EDL and their fascist BNP friends are trying to divide us by scapegoating Muslims and other ethnic minorities.
We are calling on people across the North West – anti-cuts activists, trades unionists, anti-racists and others – to come together in Blackburn on 2nd April to join our Celebration of our Multicultural society and of the unity that makes us strong. Transport is going from across the North West.
